Episode 10 Jo Hyatt

Meet Jo Hyatt!!!!!! Jo was raised in Erie, PA where in her youth she went to college for a wee bit and dropped out to pursue her true calling. Yes, you heard it here first, it’s that Jo Hyatt comedienne extraordinaire!!! She bounced around the greater and lesser Los Angeles area pursuing that while working other odd jobs. Eventually she settled back into the hustle and bustle of college life and graduated Magna Cum Lauda from Edinboro University with a degree in Health Communications. While attending university she had an internship at an HIV clinic where she counseled individuals on safer practices. Following college Jo was a Licensed insurance agent in the states of Washington and Oregon where she focused on Veterans and their families helping them get supplemental and burial coverages.

Around this time is when she suffered a brain injury that left her on her ass physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually and financially. It was from this state that the phoenix was reborn from the ashes and Jo went from being a patsy and another number of the western medicine industrial complex and into her quest for a healthier life. That quest has led her down the paths of clean eating, (hashtag vegan AF BRO), marijuana, self care, mental health, and Buddhism. She has lived a life many would describe as adventurous and unconventional, and it has brought her to where she is today.
